Oxygen concentrator price reduced by 54%

 According to the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, the commercial price of oxygen concentrators has dropped by 54 per cent following the federal government's cap. The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Commission announced on the 3rd that the trade price ceiling for oxygen concentrators should be 70 per cent of the price at the distributor level.


Subsequently, 104 manufacturing companies and importers changed the maximum retail prices of 252 brands and products and submitted them to the Central Government.


Of these, 70 products and brand prices have dropped by 54 percent. The maximum retail price of an oxygen concentrator has dropped to Rs 54,337. 58 brands have reduced prices by up to 25 percent. 11 brands have reduced prices by 26 percent to 50 percent. Of the 252 products, 18 domestic companies did not reduce prices.
